Price Park, a 98-acre passive park, has a variety of walking trails on the property. To aid in the education of visitors, local naturalist Ann Walter-Fromson coordinated the development of interpretive trail signs in collaboration with Lea Beazley of Nature Graphics. The T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society provided funding for the signage.

The signs educate the public about the local fauna, wildlife, and succession stages in the development of the forests of the Piedmont Region in North Carolina. The signs also explain how human interaction affects this natural environment.
