Junior Chefs in Training is a three-part interactive cooking series designed to introduce teens to the joy of cooking while promoting healthy eating habits, creativity, and teamwork. Each class will provide an opportunity for participants to prepare an appetizer, main entrée, and a low-sugar beverage. The program is hands-on, teen-friendly, and tailored to be fun, educational, and delicious.
All ingredients and supplies will be provided by the library. Participants will be encouraged to work in teams, learn basic culinary skills, and gain confidence in the kitchen. Participants must register in advance by email.
Guardians or participants are required to inform staff of any allergies or dietary restrictions prior to the program.
