Free Verse 100 Thousand Poets for Change Open Mic

Interactive Poetry Workshop and Open Mic Session

Join us for this special edition of the Free Verse and Interactive Poetry Workshop, co-sponsored by the Writers Group of the Triad and Triad Poetry Meetup. This is an open mic event where poets, writers of all genres, spoken word poets, singers and musicians can bring awareness to an array of social issues. Come share your verse, fiction or memoir about the topic of change.  

The format offers a five-minute maximum time limit for poetry and seven-minute maximum time limit for prose.

This program is for ages 12 and up and is hosted by Alfred Harrell and Steve Wessells. Refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Library.
