High Point's Early Black Communities

With Local Historian and Author Glenn Chavis

  • Cost

Glenn Chavis has been described as a man on a history mission. He has written two books and more than 300 articles about High Point.

"I want to find facts and make them live in the minds of those who will listen," he says. "So come join me on a trip down black High Point's memory lane."

That lane has many parallels to Greensboro's history, including Warnersville, which was founded in 1865. Come hear how voices change history.
