The Greensboro Public Library will present its 8th Thomas Berry Award. This award recognizes an individual or organization engaged in imagining the human-Earth relationship through scholarship, writing, poetry, the arts or environmental programs. Mary Evelyn Tucker from the Forum on Religion and Ecology at Yale will give the keynote address. A permanent sculpture commemorating all previous recipients of the award will be dedicated.
