A guest speaker, Robert Lockett, will explain the biology of DNA and how it can be used in Genealogical research. He will cover what is DNA, cell biology, Y and X chromosomes and a case study tracing roots to the 1500s in both paper and DNA trails.

Robert S. Lockett Jr.  is Wythe County Genealogical Society President (VA) and native of Montgomery County VA.  After retirement from Texas Instruments engineering Bob returned to Virginia to play golf and do genealogical work.  His DNA presentations are some of the best in our area.
