Mindfulness simply means paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. The collective cultural past and our personal past can whisper and weave itself into our beings to create a personal Inner Wild. Please join artist Kat Cays in an art making workshop, in a time of purposeful meditation and creativity constructing arrows honoring the Inner Wild, embracing and, as we start the New Year, letting go of in part, while symbolically taking aim to a purposeful future.
Please bring 3 or 4 small lightweight objects that relate to something of your past, and a pair of scissors. The objects could include things like feathers, stones, shells, a small note or a dried flower all around the size of a quarter or smaller.
Registration is required. To register, email Beth Sheffield by January 5, 2019.
