  • Cost

Enjoy an entertaining evening featuring verse by Pablo Neruda read by community members in Spanish and English with live music by Nueva Voz.

Chilean poet Pablo Neruda is one of the most influential poets of the twentieth-century. His work includes surrealist poems, historical epics, overtly political manifestos, a prose autobiography, and passionate love poems. On July 15, 1945, at Pacaembu Stadium in São Paulo, Brazil, Neruda read to 100,000 people. This was a world record for attendance at a poetry reading.
