Join us as we discuss Golden Asro Frinks: Telling the Unsung Song, by former Greensboro City Council member Goldie Frinks Wells. Wells' biography tells the behind-the-scenes story of her father's role in the civil rights movement. Frinks, who died in 2004, was a native South Carolinian who spent much of his life in Edenton. During his lifetime, he was arrested 87 times for his civil rights activism.

Contact Carole Campbell Brown for more information and to borrow a copy of the book.
