The Greensboro Public Library is a Funding Information Network partner with Candid (formerly known as Foundation Center and a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center). As a member of this nationwide network, we are able to provide free public access to Foundation Directory Online Professional and Foundation Grants to Individual as well as a core collection of Candid's  publications and a variety of supplementary materials and services for grant seekers.

Foundation Directory Online and Grants to Individuals are for in-library use only. Grantspace may be accessed outside of the library.

Foundation Directory Online Professional provides access to facts on grant makers and their funding activities worldwide. To pinpoint prospective funders, explore four comprehensive databases: Grant Makers, Companies, Grants, and 990s. With geographic search tools, you can zoom in on regional and local grant makers or grants by state, county, city, metro area, congressional district, and zip code. Choose from more than 1,100 indexed search terms or keyword searches. At the library?  Have your library card ready and click on the orange "Foundation Directory Online" box to get started.
