The Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library hosts an Environmental Science Service Learning Project for high school students during the school year. The program provides opportunities to students through experiential learning, volunteering, and educational programs to advance environmental stewardship.
Students earn volunteer hours, attend field trips, and learn from environmental experts. The program takes place on Mondays from 6-8 pm. Students create displays and exhibits for Earth Day events in April. In addition, there are other service projects throughout the year.
