If your income is less than $66,000, file online. Managed by the Walmart Foundation in cooperation with Goodwill Industries International, National Disability Institute, and United Way, this website provides free, online filing for state and federal taxes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

If your income is less than $66,000, you can choose a company website on which you can file your federal tax return for free. Some of these companies also do state returns for free, while others charge a fee for doing a state return.
