Join us for Banned Books Week with a discussion and a film on the subject. Many are concerned about the recent rise in attempted and successful banning of books. Banned Book Week highlights this activity. After the discussion, there will be a screening of Storm Center featuring the great Bette Davis. This 1952 film is very timely as it explores a divided community and an attempt to have a book banned from the collection of the town library. The librarian portrayed by Davis takes a stand. This is an in-person only event due to film screening restrictions. Contact Ronald Headen by email or call 336-412-6199 for more information.
