Getting Started With Wise

To access your account on our new system, please follow the steps below. Get started here.

• Your username is your library card barcode.
• If your email address is attached to your library account, you can click the 'Forgot username or password' link and a temporary password will be sent to you.  You may also call any branch and provide your library card number. An employee will give you a temporary password. Your password is NOT your four digit PIN. 
• The temporary password is case sensitive. After you access your account with the temporary password, you will be prompted to create a new password for future use.
• Passwords must be at least 8 characters long. It must contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 special character @ $ % ^ * ( ) ?.  Not accepted are a space, tab, &, |, or # .

In 2020 the Greensboro Public Library will be moving to a new system for community engagement and circulation of materials called OCLC Wise. During this time there may be some interruptions in service. Curbside service will continue and you can still call your branch library for curated material selection.
