In addition to resources provided by the Greensboro Public Library, many other agencies and organizations throughout the community provide in-depth services and support to businesses and entrepreneurs in the form of expert advice, educational programming, mentoring, networking opportunities and financial assistance. Elon University Small Business & Entrepreneurship Clinic
The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Clinic is a law office which provides business-related legal services to entrepreneurs and small business owners who would not otherwise be able to afford legal representation. Services provided by the clinic include, but are not limited to, choice of entity advising, organizational document drafting and review, contract review and drafting, employment and human resource advising, regulatory compliance and drafting financing documentation. 

Greensboro Chamber of Commerce 
The Chamber is dedicated to building relationships, building business, and building success for companies in the Greensboro area. You will find relevant information about programs and services on this site as well as an easy connection to businesses of all types – contractors, florists, manufacturers, realtors, restaurants, attorneys, and many more.

Greensboro Partnership Entrepreneur Initiative 
The Greensboro Partnership Entrepreneurship Initiative cultivates a fertile environment for companies to start and grow in the Greater Greensboro area by linking entrepreneurs with the critical resources they need to be successful. 

GTCC Small Business Center
The mission of the Small Business Center is to increase the success rate and the number of viable small businesses in North Carolina by providing high quality, readily accessible assistance to prospective and existing small business owners and their employees.

State Assistance

Business Link North Carolina
Business Link North Carolina (BLNC), a service of the NC Department of Commerce, is your access to an extensive network of experts who can help your business succeed. Everything you need to know from licenses, government contracting, business plans, tax information to marketing and access to capital. BLNC business counselors are available to answer your questions during regular business hours by calling 1-800-228-8443.

North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State Corporations Division
The Corporations Division is responsible for the examination, custody and maintenance of the legal documents filed by more than 400,000 corporations, limited partnerships and limited liability companies. The duty of the Secretary of State is to ensure uniform compliance with the statutes governing the creation of these entities, record the information required to be kept as a public record, and provide that information to the public.

North Carolina Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services

SBTDC
The Small Business and Technology Center (SBTDC) provides management counseling and educational services to small and mid-sized businesses. Most of services are free of charge, and all are confidential.

Small Business Administration (SBA) in North Carolina
The SBA has many small business loan and assistance programs as well as special outreach efforts and initiatives to aid and inform small businesses.
