In the Central Film Club we love films and talking about them. This month we are discussing Lagaan, an Oscar Foreign Language film nominee. This epic film is the story of the people of a small village in Victorian India that stake their future on a game of cricket against their ruthless British rulers. The film is available on some streaming and online resources.
