On February 27, 1996, Pikachu and his friends made their grand debut to the world with the release of the original Pokémon games on the Nintendo Game Boy. Since then, Pokémon characters and games have taken the world by storm, delighting generations of children (and adults) in the challenge to “catch them all!”
