Join us at the Glenn McNairy Branch for an Autism Acceptance Month event that celebrates vehicles - trucks, trains, buses, cars, and more!

At this event, you can:

-  “Touch a Truck” in the library’s parking lot with city vehicles. We are expecting a fire truck, police car, recycling truck, and an Access GSO bus! The Parks and Recreation EcoBus will also be onsite for guests to explore.

-  Meet representatives from local organizations and City of Greensboro departments to learn about resources available to families. Participating organizations include Autism Society of North Carolina – Guilford County Chapter, Autism Unbound, GCS Exceptional Children Services, and Reading Connections. 

-  Enjoy sensory-friendly crafts and activities, including sensory bins, sensory bottles, and a toy vehicle play area.

This is an inclusive event open to everyone of all ages.
