The "Ready Readers" program is a monthly event for young readers that highlights popular book series that children love. Each event includes selections read aloud by the librarian from favorite easy reader or early chapter books, followed by a craft or activity, and book recommendations.

This month we are reading The Alien Next Door series by A.I. Newton and other fun books about aliens and outer space. We will create spaceship and alien crafts, and make edible constellations from pretzels and mini marshmallows!

This program is recommended for ages 5-8, but all ages are welcome.
