Dr. Nicolette L. Cagle, Faculty in the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University, will share stories from her book: Saving Snakes: Snakes and the Evolution of a Field Naturalist. Dr. Cage has travelled throughout the world conducting research on snakes and snake habitats. She will share the value of snakes in our natural world, how and why we should protect them. After the presentation, stay for the book signing and meet snakes brought by environmental educators from Greensboro Parks and Recreation. Also see our citizen science herpetology learning station.
