Join us as we explore the art of spoken word poetry! We will learn about the history and craft of this art form, discuss the work of famous spoken word artists, as well as write and share some poetry of our own. This program is recommended for teenagers 13-18 years old.
This session will feature a special presentation by Greensboro’s first Poet Laureate, Josephus Thompson III.
