Saturday Flick Fest: "Oppenheimer"

  • CostFree

Join us for a screening of Oppenheimer (rated R). It follows the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the American theoretical physicist who helped develop the first nuclear weapons during World War II. The film won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture,  Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor. There will be a brief intermission since the film has a 3 hour running time.

This is a great way to enjoy a free movie and get out for a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon. Once a month we will screen a great recent or classic film. There will be popcorn and candy. The audience can also submit title suggestions for future screenings. It will be a joy, so we want to see you there.

The great Audrey Hepburn once said “Everything I learned, I learned from the movies.” Also remember Humphrey Bogart's immortal line from The Maltese Falcon that can also be applied to movies: "The stuff that dreams are made of". This an in person only event due to screening rights. Contact Ronald Headen by email or call 336-412-6199 for more information.
