The "Ready Readers" program is a monthly event for young readers that highlights popular book series that children love. Each event includes selections read aloud by the librarian from favorite easy reader or early chapter books, followed by a craft or activity, and book recommendations.

This month we are talking about The Food Group books by Jory John and Pete Oswald. We will hear The Smart Cookie and then create crafts that promote positivity and kindness to yourself and others, including worry dolls and lavender sock bunnies.

This program is recommended for ages 5 - 8, but all ages are welcome.
