Rockin' Robotics at Kathleen Clay

  • CostFree

This one-hour robotics program using Wonder Workshop's Dash is tailored for students in grades 3-5 to introduce them to the exciting world of coding and robotics.

Participants will engage with Dash, a fun and interactive robot, as they learn the basics of programming through hands-on challenges. Using block-based coding, students will guide Dash through tasks, such as navigating obstacles or performing simple sequences, enhancing their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

The program encourages creativity and teamwork, allowing students to collaborate and experiment with different coding strategies. By the end of the session, participants will have gained a foundational understanding of robotics and coding, sparking their interest in technology and engineering.

This program is in partnership with Cooperative Extension, 4H. Registration is required and space is limited. To register email Christine Barrick.
