The City of Greensboro invites the community to celebrate the Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex Groundbreaking from 11 am-1 pm, Saturday, November 23 at the Windsor Recreation Center, 1601 E. Gate City Blvd. In addition to a Groundbreaking Ceremony there will be a presentation and overview of the project.

The celebration will include a free food and beverages. The Greensboro Public Library will provide art engagement activities for children and the Greensboro History Museum will be collecting community memories. There will be giveaways and performances by local groups.

WCNCC will be a first-of-its-kind facility that combines all the best features of a library, recreation center and park into a unique destination that will also provide information and services from community partners.
