The Greensboro Historical Museum has produced an original documentary, "This is My Home Now," about the lives of four youth from Montagnard families who now live in Greensboro. This premiere event begins at noon with refreshments and entertainment, followed by a formal welcome, the first screening at 1:30 pm, a panel discussion at 2 pm, then a second screening at 3:30 pm.
Reservations are strongly suggested for the two film screenings, and may be made by calling Mary Allen at 336-373-2982.
The film will also be shown on UNC-TV public television at 11 pm Tuesday, April 28, following the airing of "Last Days of Vietnam," an Academy-Award nominated documentary.
