This annual living history program, once again brings to life women from Greensboro’s past. All through the year, the museum’s Voices of a City exhibition tells the story of women and men who have made a difference in Guilford County. But a few special days a year, their voices echo through the galleries in conversation. Actors in period costume, some professional and some student volunteers, tell the story of the women represented in the museum exhibits. Visitors are invited to participate in a shared experience that reaffirms that yes, these were real women, whose story it is important to remember.
