Based on L. M. Montgomery's book by the same title, this newest PBS adaptation of the well loved classic is sure to delight young and old alike. It's 1907 on Prince Edward Island and spirited Anne Shirley arrives hoping to be adopted by Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, only they were expecting a boy to help out on the family farm.
