After the abduction and presumed death of Mackenzie Phillips' youngest daughter, he receives a letter and suspects it is from God. It asks him to return to the shack where Missy may have been murdered where he has an encounter that will change his life forever.
The film stars Sam Worthington, Octavia Spencer and Tim McGraw. It is based on the novel by William P. Young. 132 minutes and rated PG. Viewers are invited to a discussion of the book and film after the screening.
