Join us as we begin our community-wide reading adventure One City, One Book, celebrating the book Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly. We'll have birthday cake in honor of Katherine Johnson's 99th birthday and DJ Jessica Mashburn will be spinning the tunes. At 2:30 pm, join us for a lesson from the Piedmont Swing Society and learn the Shim Sham. At 4 pm, strike a pose. We'll have a swingin’ fashion show featuring clothing from the 40s, 50s and 60s, put on with the help of the Gate City Vintage Society.
