Sign up to be a Teen Reading Buddy to a Toddler

If you are 15-17 years of age, you can sign up to be a reading buddy to preschoolers, ages 3-5 years. You can earn service learning hours while helping young children hear 100 books before kindergarten. Reading with children gives them a lifelong love of books and builds the necessary early literacy skills every child needs to learn to read. The more children are read to, the larger their vocabulary becomes, and the more prepared they are for school. Contact Carole Campbell Brown for more information.
