Join Laine Roberts, as she shares the history and need for Operation Bedroll, a joint effort between the City of Greensboro's Recycling Center, Public Libraries, and Police Department. Since 2016 this project has provided sleeping mats for the homeless who at times may sleep outside on the ground. These mats provide a waterproof barrier, are light weight and durable. This program is open to tweens, teens, and adults. Knowledge of crocheting is helpful, but someone will be available to teach crochet. Bring at least 10 plastic bags and learn how to make plarn.
