In early summer of 2017, Roberta Newton and Ann Van Sant traveled to Botswana and Cape Town for birding adventures.  Roberta and Ann will discuss the birds, wildlife, threats to the natural environment and conservation efforts. Roberta will focus on the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park in Botswana.  Ann will feature the Fynbos Region around Cape Town. This program is sponsored by the Piedmont Bird Club and the T.
