It can be difficult to feel good about our eating habits when life is stressful, especially in the days of a global pandemic. Mindful eating is used to slow down the process of consuming your food, to give your body a chance to savor, acknowledge, and enjoy what you are eating. This mindful practice helps us develop a better relationship with food and our eating habits.
Join Samira Dahdah (she/hers), a SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator with Recipe for Success at UNCG, as she shares what it means to mindfully engage with our food, and the benefits it has for us. In her work and free time, Samira focuses on mindfulness and building community, and she also loves to roller skate!
