Raid the toolbox for hardware washers, add some ribbon and you have pretty or punk bracelets. Mrs. Cindy demonstrates how to thread the washers on ribbon or cording to make beautiful bracelets or pendant necklaces. Crafting kits are available at all the library branches for these projects.

Choose a necklace or a bracelet to make, and watch the video. Materials needed for a bracelet are 6 to 10 (depending on size, the larger the washer the less you will need) star washers or flat washers and 24 inches of ribbon. Materials needed for a pendant necklace are 1 large flat washer, 30 to 36 inches of cording or skinny ribbon, and nail polish in your favorite colors.
