Esme Addison is from Raleigh, NC but traveled extensively in the past decade as a military spouse. She and her husband lived on the coast of North Carolina, in Northern Virginia, on Long Island and in Okinawa, Japan. She likes to read and is currently into mysteries and science fiction, but also reads romance, women’s fiction, non-fiction, young adult and thrillers.

Esme has a special place for southern-set fiction and magical realism. A Spell for Trouble: An Enchanted Bay Mystery is the first in a mystery series. She married into a first-generation Polish family, which inspired this cozy mystery series based on the Polish myth of the Mermaid of Warsaw.
