November's National Novel Writing Month is geared toward people writing 50,000-word novels in a month, while Camp NaNoWriMo embraces authors of all genres: short stories, memoirs, non-fiction, screenplays…all are welcome at Camp NaNoWriMo.

NaNoGSO offers monthly writing workshops and write-in sessions. These productive virtual meet-ups are a great way to meet fellow writers and pick up NaNoWriMo-approved advice for character development, world building, and more.

Join in the literary abandon and you, too, may join the ranks of celebrated authors such as Erin Morgenstern (The Night Circus), Rainbow Rowell (Fangirl), Marissa Meyer (Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress), and Sarah Gruen (Water for Elephants), all of whom wrote the first draft of their popular novels during the NaNoWriMo challenge.
