Women’s History Month is a time to honor and recognize the achievements of incredible women throughout history. It is a time to recognize the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope.
Join for a little music, a little merriment, and celebrate lives of phenomenal women. Stop by Central Library for a special a look at the inspiring life of Felicia Brown as she shares her new collection, SCARS to STARS: Stories of Vulnerability, Resilience, and Overcoming Adversity. In the book, Felicia and nineteen other authors write to give hope to anyone struggling, to promote mental health awareness, and help prevent suicide.
