Join us for a little music, a little merriment, and celebrate the lives of phenomenal women. Stop by Central Library for a special a look at the inspiring life of Maria Hicks-Few as she shares from her memoir, From Cocoon to Butterfly: The Story of a Warrior.

Within society today, we have all heard of the term of endearment, "Superwoman." Filled with endurance and power, this term is often used for the woman who is able to do it all without missing a beat. For many, this is exactly who Maria Hicks-Few exemplifies, a current-day Superwoman or better yet, the invincible "Social Butterfly." Join her on this literary journey as she shares her reflections on handling it all - Family, Career, Go-Getter, Caretaker, Warrior and Breast Cancer Survivor!
