Join Cub Scout Pack 600 for a wonderful dual event including a presentation on STEAM activities and fun outdoor adventure for school-aged children in grades K-5.
The STEAM activities will include a demonstration of the chemical structures of everyday substances that will give children an introduction to basic science. There will also be a presentation on cryptography, teaching the basics of encoding and decoding messages. This part of the program is in our large meeting room.
You will also learn about sleeping in the great outdoors! Learn how to set-up and use a tent, and also how to build emergency shelters and forts. This part of the program is out in Price Park, weather permitting.
No experience or materials are needed for these activities!
