Have you ever heard of the term ‘plant rescue’?  Learn about this unique way to acquire plants for the garden without harming the environment. Hosted in conjunction with the Triad Chapter of the Native Plant Society, Lynda Waldrep, will share why rescues are a last resort for protecting plant communities that would otherwise be destroyed by land development. Also discover how Indigenous populations have been involved with plant rescues.
