This year we’ll be highlighting the work of several local artists who want to share what they do and how they do it with Greensboro teens.
Breathe new life into old books by transforming them into works of art! Well-loved books have a shelf life and don't last forever. Instead of tossing broken books in the trash, artist Cassandra Liuzzo will teach us how to repurpose text and images into interesting layered compositions using drawing, painting, and collage techniques.
You'll leave with a finished work of art, and plenty of ideas to keep exploring at home! We’ll provide materials, but registration is required and limited to 15 per session. Email Peter Turner to register.
