For customers who are having issues accessing their account, please follow these steps.
Log into Libby and go to Add a Library. You will need to type in Greensboro Public Library and then enter your library card number. This should restore access to your account and all of your holds. Step by step instructions can be found here.
The Greensboro Public Library is no longer a member of the North Carolina Digital Library (NCDL). NCDL is a consortium that pooled resources to access the OverDrive collection of online books. Despite this change, the Greensboro Public Library still has direct access to the OverDrive collection, so our customers will not experience any change in service. This new arrangement means that more titles will be available to our customers, because as a member of NCDL our collection was shared with other libraries throughout the state.
Libby is the recommended way for customers to browse and borrow thousands of ebooks, audiobooks, and more from the Greensboro Public Library.
Getting started is easy, all you need to do is visit the website or download the app and sign-in with your library card. Watch the video below or you can find detailed instructions here.
